About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500g Lean Steak Pieces

  • 500g 5% Beef Mince

  • 6/8 Carrots

  • 3 Onions

  • 1 cup Frozen Peas

  • 5 large Potatoes, peeled

  • 2 Beef Stock Cubes

  • 1 tbsp Bisto (to thicken if you want at end)

  • 1 Beef Casserole Mix Packet

  • A dash of Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

  1. Make small meatballs from mince and brown with steak pieces.

  2. In a big pot make stock/ and add casserole mix in about 500 ml water (enough to well cover veg/meat).

  3. Add chopped carrots and sliced onions (don't brown the onions not sure why just don't) and peeled potatoes.

  4. Add the beef and mince balls and leave to simmer on a low heat.

  5. Add frozen peas after half an hour

  6. Cook until the potatoes are cooked through.
